Earlier this year I was scrolling threw Facebook and I came across this page called Inspiration Through Art. The minute I started looking through their pictures and reading all the amazing stories it touched my heart in a way that I would have never know. I didn't wait another second, I found their website, found the application for photographers, and applied. A couples months went by and I had actually forgotten all about putting in an application until one day I got an email congratulating me and saying I got approved as a photographer. I was over the moon and felt so thankful for a chance to be apart of something so wonderful. Then on top of that not ever three hours after I got my email saying I was approved I got an email from a family with a beautiful little girl who was also approved to be photographed and just needed a photographer. We emailed and called a couple times learning about each other and then set up a date for a shoot. This weekend I got to meet this amazing family, they where beyond fun! They literally had me cracking up almost the whole time. You could see the love pouring off of all them! Thank you guys so much for choosing me as your photographer and giving me the chance to meet your amazing little family!
If you get the chance you should really check out this amazing organization!

Grandma and me.
This weekend I also got to spend time with Logan and his grandma for another lifestyle shoot. This is the third time I have gotten the pleasure of taking little Logan's pictures and he is till very good at keeping me on my toes. But that just made for even better lifestyle pictures to bring out just how wonderful and fun this little boy is.
and of course we had to get a couple in there with mom too!

One year new.
One of the best and most rewarding parts of being a photographer is watching the children I photograph grow and change. I get to be there to capture beautiful precious moments for them and their families to look back on as they continue to grow.
I have been taking picture of this beautiful little girl since she was still in her mothers belly and then also all the other milestones that followed. This weekend I was thrilled to be able to do her first year pictures. We decided, or Kaprice decided for us, that lifestyle pictures in her room doing what she does best would make for beautiful first year pictures that would bring out her true nature and show us just how wonderful and smart she is!

Little Indians.
I know most photographer or even none photographers have seen this concept a million time but i have never personally done this concept myself. So when a good friend pitched this idea to me only two days before the shoot I jumped at it. Nothing better then a last minute shoot with the kids and a good friend. Not only was this last minute but the day of the shoot i realized I had nothing for my kids to wear. So loading my daughter in the van we made a trip to Walmart only 3 hours before the shoot to get the supplies to make hers and the boys costumes. When everything was said and done I have one hour before we where suppose to meet up to make 3 Indian costumes, but i think i pulled it off. We had a blast putting this together and watching the kids dress up. A bonus was that my husband was a good sport and helped a lot, especially with my toddler who wanted nothing to do with his little Indian outfit or our cameras.
Hope you all enjoy the pictures :)
